“Kevin Bull, Jr.”, a 4-piece hard rock band, was originally formed in the DC Metro area in 2020 by 21-year-old bass player and lead vocalist, Kevin Bull, Jr. Kevin is a junior majoring in Commercial Bass Performance with a Music Technology emphasis and has been classically trained on the upright bass for almost 10 years. He has been gigging and touring the East Coast music scene since 2016 and brings his unique and hard-hitting, tight sound to Nashville with band members Reece Bittner and Ethan Merry on guitars and Ryan Maguire on drums. The “Kevin Bull, Jr.” band draws inspiration from the likes of Mammoth WVH, Stone Temple Pilots, and Alice In Chains. In December 2020, during the pandemic, his first record, Trying My Best, was released on all streaming platforms and includes the popular hits, “Conformity” and “Being Human”; both high energy and crowd favorites. From then, he began to play local DC venues like Tally Ho and Jammin’ Java, to selling out his first Nashville show at The End, in February 2022. In August 2023, Kevin and his band won Belmont University’s annual Battle of the Bands Showcase will be playing the 2024 Best of the Best Showcase. Armed with a fresh sound and recorded projects, Kevin’s dream is to play live shows, tour, and connect with as many people as possible is becoming clearer.
